Before delegates returned to their respective countries, churches and organizations, they asked for God's blessing on the continuation of their journey together towards a just peace.

Weaving together of Experiences

In a session seeking to gather the learnings of the convocation, more than 60 of the 1000 participants lined up to contribute comments and changes to the final message.

Simone Poortman from the Netherlands voiced the concerns of participants from the Ecumenical Disability Advocates Network (EDAN).

Sanna Eriksson, Church of Sweden, spoke on behalf of the young IEPC participants at the closing plenary. “We rejoice that young people participated in this meeting in a wide variety of roles,” she said. “We thank those churches and organizations who sent young people as their representatives.”
