Report from "The Responsibility to Protect: International Ecumenical Consultation"
This consultation, which took place from 16-18 November 2007 in Arnoldshain-Schmitten, Germany, was a forum for theological debate, and it gathered a number of eminent scholars, theologians and political scientists who helped to reflect further on the merits and disadvantages of the Responsibility to Protect agenda and its similarities with the "Just War" theory, and issues related to the use of force for humanitarian purposes.
